Barstool Theology

Welcome to Barstool Theology—a space where curiosity is sacred, doubt is honored, and community is built over honest conversation. We’re glad you’re here. Pull up a seat, grab a drink, and let’s talk about the big questions—without the pressure to perform or conform. (18+ only)

  • Each gathering includes ordering appetizers and drinks, a quick review of our community guidelines, a 45-minute group discussion, and choosing the topic for our next meetup.

  • At the end of each gathering, we’ll pass around a notepad for attendees to jot down any questions they’d like to explore at the next meeting. Then, we’ll pass it around again so everyone can vote on the questions. The one or two questions with the most votes will shape the focus of our next meetup.

  • Our Guidelines are designed to foster a safe and respectful environment - one where people can genuinely communicate with each other, rather than simply talking at each other. Our guidelines are built around the following principles:

    Be Kind – Everyone’s welcome, but disrespect isn’t. Don’t be a jerk.

Speak for Yourself – Use “I” statements. Share your story, not someone else’s faults.

Keep it Brief – Limit your thoughts to 90 seconds so everyone has space to share.

Practice Perspective Hospitality – Welcome different viewpoints with curiosity, not judgment.
